DIY project #1

i love Do It Yourself projects. i follow many blogs that show you how to do things with pinching pennies. i have this patio set i got from IKEA about 4 years ago. it has been weathered for sure and its seen better days. so i though why not re stain it and make it look new instead of buying a brand new one.  i didn't know what to get or what to do so blogs helped and a nice man at home depot told me what to buy. well i did and it look all day but it looks great! sorry the pictures are not amazing i look them with my camera. now it looks like i have brand new patio set!! Just in time for my next move.

honor harry

I did this post a while ago but it seemed unfinished (it was). I should have waited till the last movies came out. So i am redoing the post now. Harry Potter has changed so many children and adults. And one of them is me. The Harry Potter film series has become the most successful in box office history, beating James Bond and Star Wars. It has ranked in 6 billion so far not counting the last movie (the Deathly Hallows part 2) which opens on Friday!!!!!. Its truly the end of an era... Here is my favorite of the many movies posters from each movie.

the Sorcerer's Stone

the Chamber of Secrets

the Prisoner of Azkaban

the Goblet of Fire

the Order of the Phoenix

the Half-Blood Prince

the Deathly Hallows

the Deathly Hallows – Part 1

the Deathly Hallows – Part 2

bit by the reading bug

i noticed i haven't made a book club review in a while but yet i have been reading a ton lately. i have been soaring through book the past couple weeks and loving every bit of it. i wanted to share which ones i have been getting to know, dating, and falling in love with. sometimes i feel like ending a book is saying good bye to a friend... (think i am a nerd for that last line. i don't care!!!)
