nothing like vinyl

last Christmas i asked and graciously received a record player and stand from my parents. they also hand over some of there own albums that i wanted that they had held on to. passing the torch i like to think of it. it was such a fun evening with Paul, Cindy, Greg, and myself going through all there vinyls and seeing there reactions with every one we saw. i am sure it was a blast from the past to see the albums they had bought when they me age, younger, or while they were young newly weds. in the past year Greg and i have been cruising swap meets and garage sales to acquire more records. and have found some goodies if i do say so myself. i like cooking dinner while listening to a golden oldie on vinyl or having friends over and saying to someone you pick and album then hearing 5 min later "no way you have this, i gotta hear in vinyl". contrary to what some may think vinyl is not a dieing breed. you can buy the new john mayer album on vinyl or any new soundtrack you here. also the record player is easy to get too. my parents got mine at target. i wanted to share my highly coveted vinyls list with all of you. and hope i help you walk down memory lane of when you 1st heard that song, bought that record, or went to there concert and loved every minute of it.
